The results of our education policy survey are in.
Advance Oklahoma's Kids conducted the data collection for this poll. Political party affiliation was not asked. Polling targeted Oklahoma parents and those interested in public education.
Over 300 Oklahomans took the survey. Our current hyper-partisan rhetoric around education is not addressing many of their concerns.
69% of Oklahomans across party lines believe we should end corporal punishment on Oklahoma’s students.
71.2% of the participants felt it was very important to have transparency in the State Department of Education.
77% of participants want to see a change to the A-F School Grading System that allows schools to impact metrics within their control.
Oklahomans want common sense approaches to the real problems facing their kids and their public schools.
